120 School Students Come to BIOTROP
Some 120 public high school students from the SD Pelangi Kasih and SMP Negeri 115 Jakarta visited SEAMEO BIOTROP during the period January to March 2008.
The visit to SEAMEO BIOTROP was part of the school’s program in introducing the relationship between biology and the natural world. It is especially intended to make the students develop an understanding of the utilization of biotechnology for the benefit of human beings. 500 visitors register at SEAMEO BIOTROP during Oct-Dec 2007
Some 300 students and teachers from BPK Penabur Junior High School in Jakarta came to BIOTROP last 2 October 2007. Some 500 students, teachers and school officials visited SEAMEO BIOTROP during the period of October-December 2007.
The participants of ASEAN Training Program on Entrepreneurship Development in Agricultural Cooperatives visited SEAMEO BIOTROP last 27 August 2007. This training course was attended by 29 participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, LAO DPR, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia.
