Abstract:
OBJECTIVES
a) To obtain the information of the ecological roles in the symbiotic relationship between DSE fungi and rice plant under acidic stress conditions in field, b) To get the DSE bio-fertilizer formula based on field trial that have function as rice growth promoter in swamp soil with very high acidity conditions.
CONCLUSION
Some of the conclusions from this study are:
1. Field testing shows that the three DSE have the potential to promote growth and productivity of swamp rice plants in potential acid sulphate land with an increase in production from 0.61 to 0.72 tonnes/ha, but further research, namely multilocation testing, needs to be carried out to obtain consistent results in the field testing for increasing swamp rice productivity,
2. The three DSEs originate from the acid sulphate land environment are proven to be able to
increase the growth and production of swamp rice in acid sulphate soils.
