Abstract:

Indonesian Coral Reefs Spreading Information System, is web-based information which the major contain is about coral reefs spreading (distribution) in form of spatial info. These spatial data is based on satellite imagery of SPOT-5 which combined with field survey data. The resolution of the image is 10 meter resolution, and after combined with field data the sea floor substrate that can describe or inform consist of sands, sand mixed with seagrass(sand-seagrass), seagrasses, dead coral, life coral, and seldom living coral (seldom coral). Other information from these spatial data is spatial range of each kinds of substrate, lifeform-based distribution, thickness presentation, and biodiversity.
