To ensure smooth official communication and integrated services with the central office, SEAMEO BIOTROP conducted an In-House Training on the Electronic Official Document System (Sistem Naskah Dinas Elektronik/SINDE) on June 5, 2025. The session was attended by 46 staff members as part of the institution’s efforts to align with administrative procedures adopted by the Ministry.
The training featured Gita Tri Widiasti, First Expert Archivist at the Bureau of General Affairs and Procurement, who presented an overview of the policies related to the use of SINDE. Her presentation covered the legal framework underpinning SINDE implementation, classifications and formats of official documents, and the document workflow process—including the roles of document preparers, verifiers, secretaries, and authorized signatories.
A technical session was delivered by Amaliah Khoirun Nisyak, System and Information Technology Management Staff at the same bureau. Participants engaged in hands-on practice with SINDE’s features, including document disposition and drafting functionalities through both the text editor and PDF tools.
In her opening remarks, the Acting Director of SEAMEO BIOTROP, Dr. Elis Rosdiawati, highlighted the urgency of transitioning from the currently utilized archiving internal system, ISAIMAT (Integrated System on Archiving Management Transaction) to SINDE—an application widely adopted by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. This transition reflects SEAMEO BIOTROP’s current institutional alignment under the Bureau of Planning and Cooperation of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of Indonesia. (hcn, tw)
