MOMI CLOUDIA: Potential and Challenges for the Development of SEAMEO Center Indonesia

Approaching the year 2023, SEAMEO Center Indonesia faces many challenges in conducting their programs and activities. The post-pandemic era requires wisdom and skills in recognizing emerging opportunities in utilizing all resources, infrastructure, facilities, and manpower to run the programs and activities in SEAMEO Center Indonesia.  In acknowledging these challenges, SEAMEO BIOTROP invited Dr Gatot Hari Priowirjanto as the resource person in the MOMI CLOUDIA event held on 19 December 2022.

In this event, discussions ran about recognizing and tackling the challenges with endless possibilities.  The digital era, including Society 5.0, and Industry 4.0 which focus on the internet and metaverse technologies have shown their strengths in tackling several essential issues during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as financial, communication, health, and many other issues.

The crucial key to implementing future technologies is human resources.  We need to upgrade and build the capacity of human resources to obtain competent and committed human resources. Many partnerships and linkages can be built and utilized in order to train human resources for fulfilling the required human resources for every field of expertise.

Education and its components are becoming the key to human resource development.  The regular and vocational schools are working hand-in-hand to develop the needed human resources for the business and industrial worlds.  Eventually, the ultimate power is the strong will of human resources.
